  • Push your limits and cross the nerve-racking Cho La Pass, an adventure reward you with some of the most spectacular views of the Himalayas.
  • Indulge in local cuisine, including traditional Sherpa dishes and Nepalese delicacies, at tea houses and lodges along the way.
  • Experience the warmth and kindness of the Sherpa people, who are known for their hospitality and are proud to share their culture with visitors.

Embark on an extraordinary and unforgettable journey to the world's highest base camp via the Gokyo Lake trail, a path less traveled that promises to leave you spellbound by its beauty and adventure.

Instead of the traditional route from Namche to EBC, this trail takes a detour towards the hidden valley of Gokyo, which offers a refreshing change of scenery and a more peaceful trekking experience away from the crowds.

Starting from Lukla, the trek takes you through the charming towns of Phortse Thanga and Machhermo, where you can soak up stunning views of towering mountains such as Ama Dablam and Khumbi La. The trail is lined with lush pine and rhododendron trees that add to the mesmerizing landscape.

As you approach Gokyo Lake, you'll be captivated by the crystal-clear waters of the six highest freshwater lakes in the world, surrounded by awe-inspiring peaks. These partially frozen lakes offer a spectacular sight that will leave you mesmerized.

The adventure continues as you cross the nerve-wracking Cho La Pass, where you'll walk through the icy glaciers and experience the thrill of this physically and mentally demanding trekking pass. The trail then leads you to Gorak Shep, from where you'll hike for a few hours to reach the Everest Base Camp.

Reaching the Everest Base Camp is a momentous achievement that will make you feel more confident and resilient in your future endeavors. This trail offers an opportunity to create unforgettable memories and will be a source of inspiration for years to come.
